Hispanic Motor Press Jury Panel Names the Best 2025 Vehicles for Hispanics

LOS ANGELES, CA — November 22, 2024 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — The Hispanic Motor Press jury panel names the Hispanic Motor Press Awards (HMPA) Best 2025 Vehicles for Hispanics. The selected winners offer the best advancements in technology, safety features, infotainment, and overall value in their category. Presented this year by leading car care brand Meguiar’s, the 15th annual HMPA award winners were announced today during AutoMobility LA. The winning vehicles will be featured in an exclusive staged HMPA area in the Los Angeles Convention Center. throughout the LA Auto Show through December 1.

"The U.S. Hispanic consumer's GDP (gross domestic product) is growing at an average annual rate of over 4% making it one of the fastest growing economies in the world, impacting all industries including automotive where Hispanics represent 1 in 4 new vehicle purchases annually," shares Ricardo Rodriguez-Long, founder of the Hispanic Motor Press and juror moderator of HMPA.

"The U.S. Latino economic power has surpassed 3.5 trillion dollars, growing by 13% in one year, and is the fifth largest economy in the world, more than countries like Italy or England", said Camilo Alfaro, CEO of Hispanic Consortium and among the HMPA jurors.

Driving their mission, the Hispanic Motor Press works to educate Hispanic consumers on the importance of transitioning to cleaner transportation while guiding their options. The volunteer group of judges across the country evaluates all vehicles’ safety systems, power trains, and connectivity so consumers benefit from honest reviews. "It is a big responsibility because many cars are good, but we aim to find the best package with the best price," said David Loji, host of Garage Latino and HMPA juror.

The continuous evolution of technology on wheels has also leveled the playing field, and newer automakers can deliver outstanding products. "We want to empower the audience with information that can enhance their vehicle experience," said Pepe Forte, host of Automania and also among the HMPA jurors.

The HMPA Best 2025 Vehicles for Hispanics are:  

Electric Vehicle: Kia EV9
Family Vehicle: Hyundai Santa Fe
Sports Utility Vehicle: Kia Sorento
Luxury Vehicle: Genesis GV80

The 2025 HMPA Jurors represent a distinguished, independent group of Hispanic automotive journalists, content creators, and industry influencers selected by the organization's advisory board who volunteer their own time to participate and help the Hispanic consumer make an informed choice.

All 2025 HMPA winners excel in ownership experience and are considered the most significant automobiles in the market, as they meet the needs and desires of Hispanic consumers. The auto manufacturers voluntarily participate submitting their entries, and the expert jury panel evaluates the vehicle features, including overall design, comfort, safety, economy, handling, performance, functionality, infotainment integration, interior design, environmental requirements, driver satisfaction, and price.

The holidays can be beautiful… but for many grieving parents — especially special needs parents — this season hurts in ways most people never see.

Between disrupted routines, sensory overload, and the ache of missing someone you love, December can feel overwhelming. And here’s what most don’t realize:

Nearly HALF of Christians stop attending church after losing a loved one… not because they’ve lost their faith, but because they feel the church doesn’t know how to walk with them through grief.
These families aren’t leaving God —
they’re leaving because they feel unseen in their pain.

As someone who advocates for families of ALL abilities, I’m sharing a new blog post today on how we can support grieving loved ones — especially special needs parents — with compassion, faith, and presence this holiday season.

If someone in your life is grieving, please don’t stay silent.
Say their loved one’s name.
Offer specific help.
Create space for their emotions.
Pray with them.
Walk with them — gently, consistently, faithfully.

Because no parent should have to grieve alone during the holidays.

🏆 Earlier this week, I was once again filled with thankfulness, love, and faith. 
🏆 I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Home Health Care USA for naming me the “Latina American Caregiver of the Year!” 
🏆 Caregivers are among the unsung heroes in our society, and there are many different types of caregivers. For instance, the “Sandwich Generation” refers to individuals who are caring for both their aging parents and their children simultaneously. These caregivers often provide physical, emotional, and financial support. More than 50% of Americans in their 40s and 50s are currently caring for both their children and their senior parents—and usually without any help from extended family. 
🏆 Some caregivers dedicate their entire lives to caring for a child—or children—with disabilities into adulthood. Unfortunately, many caregiving parents or family members do not get a break or have quality time for themselves. About 50% of couples with special needs or neurodiverse children end up getting divorced. 
🏆 Having experienced both of these caregiving situations and still living within them, being named “Latina American Caregiver of the Year” means more to me than just an award. It symbolizes the millions of unpaid caretakers across the country who provide loving, effective care for family members or friends. 
🏆 I also want to extend my gratitude to all those who have followed my caregiving journey the past 17 years, including my care for my beloved late parents and my superhero, Joshua, on my social channels, Mami of Multiples, and Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell. The BEST is yet to come! 🙌
