1. Nancy Clara: Claudia, with more than 25 years of experience and over 10,000 hours coaching executives and organizations, you have witnessed the evolution of global leadership. What is the primary emotional and operational turning point that leaders face today when expanding into highly competitive markets like the United States?

Claudia Lalloz: In my experience, the primary emotional turning point arises when everything that used to give us security in our homeland—our contacts, our way of doing business, our team, and even our core product or service—begins to raise doubts.

Will I be able to offer the same value here? Who can I trust so I don't fail? 

Added to this are the stories we hear from other entrepreneurs and the hidden costs of taking the leap into a new market. There is no guarantee of success, yet we still choose to grow.

It is completely natural to feel pressure for results. Although we are generally accustomed to navigating uncertainty and pressure, our stress levels rise when we face the imperative to succeed—not just for the business numbers, but for what that success represents to us and our families.

Furthermore, a sense of solitude and loss of control over what lies ahead often emerges.

We could say that expanding into the United States doesn't just challenge our actions; it challenges and transforms our BEING.

2. NC: Your book The Alchemy of Questions proposes a deep journey where the reader becomes the co-author of every page. Why do you state that the "question" is the most powerful tool for transformation for an entrepreneur or a corporation, over pre-packaged answers?

CL: Because we all need to deeply understand what drives our business, what values sustain it, what we should preserve from our past practices, and what methods no longer serve us.

That is why questions help us design the future of the organization, grounded in specific, measurable data analysis.

What does the U.S. market require of us? What unique value proposition can we bring? 

We must understand that when the system changes, we must revise our strategy. Every question designed to align the business yields valuable insight that strengthens the company and fosters the well-being of the people driving its growth.

3. NC: In a corporate ecosystem often dominated by overexertion and numerical performance, your methodology highlights the value of "vulnerability" and emotional strengths. How does this human-centered vision translate into tangible results for a high-performance team?

CL: Today, understanding the human side of organizations is paramount because we are not merely living in an era of change; we are living through a change of era.

This means we must manage not only performance metrics, but also human beings and their emotions.

Executing leadership through the old command-and-control style is unthinkable today. Modern organizations require leaders who know how to navigate human behavior and remain committed to continuous learning.

Consider the cultural and generational differences within most companies today. Each team member operates from their own vulnerability, knowing that mistakes are not penalized and that adapting to new technologies is not always an easy journey.

When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we build authentic human connections. We become more empathetic leaders, which reduces turnover and boosts productivity. Research consistently shows that people rarely quit just because of salary; they leave because of poor relationships with their leaders.

Human connection builds loyalty; if the human element fails, the business itself can disappear. Ultimately, vulnerability serves as an infrastructure of trust. It doesn't replace goals or performance tracking; it creates the conditions to achieve them sustainably with more committed, adaptable, and effective teams.

In your experience, why are ethics and social responsibility the ultimate differentiator for a personal or corporate brand today?

CL: I am convinced that what enables a brand to endure over time is impeccable ethical conduct. Ethics builds credibility; credibility generates clients; and clients drive sales, which ultimately translates into productivity.

A brand is evaluated not only by what it offers, but by how it acts, the decisions it makes, and the impact it generates.

This doesn't mean never making a mistake, but rather ensuring that ethical and responsible behavior always prevails. It means keeping every promise made to clients, honoring confidentiality, protecting organizational well-being, and making a positive impact on society.

Ethical business practices foster sustainable relationships because clients, team members, partners, and investors seek connections based on transparency and respect.

The challenge I offer is to dare to reach higher, invest in continuous learning, work consistently toward your dreams, and measure success by the courage and discipline with which you walk through life.
