September is in full swing and families across the country are in the midst of their back to school routines. Shifting from carefree summer days to busy school schedules and sports activities is always a transition. Families trying to coordinate the new school year can benefit from the Nestle Family Happy New School Year Giveaway and Sweepstakes.

Nestle Family has partnered with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), the oldest and largest children’s and family nonprofit literacy organization in the United States. All RIF programs combine three essential elements to foster children’s literacy: reading motivation, family and community involvement, and the excitement of choosing free books to keep. Through the Nestle and RIF partnership, Nestle has distributed millions of books to elementary school children across the country that are associated with the Nestle Adopt-A-School program. The books donated are designed to not only encourage literacy, but are specifically focused on teaching kids about the importance of nutrition, health and wellness.

Thanks to the Nestle Family and RIF partnership, I will be donating
books to a local RIF school to help encourage early literacy among elementary school students. I have fond memories of the RIF program in my elementary school. The RIF program encouraged children to go to the library, choose a book, and the opportunity to keep it as their own. I’m pleased to be able to continue the cycle of learning with Nestle Family and RIF.
