The months of November – March are always a consistently busy time in my household due to Thanksgiving, the twins’ birthday, my wedding anniversary, Christmas, my birthday, the teen’s birthday, Valentine’s Day, my father’s birthday…all happening one after another.  Having so many occasions to plan for and celebrate so close together is wonderful but can also be a little rushed and hectic.  Like most parents would agree, it’s a great opportunity to have the chance to be able to (re)connect and spend quality time together as a family.  It can be difficult (and require some logistical planning) to create a fun environment where everyone is pleased, especially when trying to please various ages groups within just one family.  When an event combines time for relaxation (for the parents), LOTS of fun and activities (for the kids), where both young and old, can enjoy being together – that is truly an ideal situation.  A perfect example of a winning combo for parents and children alike is the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Weekend at Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Orlando coming the weekends of February 14-17 and  21-23!

Having all boys, we are quite familiar with the Power Rangers brand since its been a favorite in my home for years.  From the conception of the show (and being a young, first-time mother with the teen) I watched many of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episodes.  Power Rangers-themed birthday parties, costumes, toys, videos and more have been part of all my sons’ playtime and memories so the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Weekend is truly a must-attend family event for us.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce, premiering on Nickelodeon in early 2014, will deliver super mega action, humor, excitement and entertainment! In the final moments of the last season, the Power Rangers defeated the Warstar villains. Now, in Power Rangers Super Megaforce, Prince Vekar arrives with his massive alien Armada to conquer the earth. With the help of their supernatural guardian, Gosei, the Power Rangers are given special morphers and keys that allow them to morph into Super Megaforce Rangers! Using these keys, they also have the amazing new ability to morph into ANY team of Legendary Rangers from the past, gaining access to their incredible powers, weapons, Zords and Megazords.

In addition to the Power Rangers, guests can also have a blast with other Nickelodeon characters on property. SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be on hand to celebrate these fun-filled weekends with meet and greets, live shows, games and prizes.
