MIAMI, FL — 25 de agosto de 2025 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Volkswagen nos ha estado tomando el pelo con un renacimiento del Microbús, lanzando un concepto tras otro para tirar de las cuerdas emocionales etiquetadas como paz, amor y felicidad. Ahora, por fin ha llegado un Microbús moderno: el Volkswagen ID Buzz del 2025.

El Volkswagen ID. Buzz es una furgoneta eléctrica con capacidad para siete personas. Su tamaño es similar al de una minivan, pero su altura hace que parezca más grande. El espacio de carga detrás de la tercera fila de asientos no es tan generoso como en una minivan, pero por lo demás el ID. Buzz ofrece un volumen competitivo.

Modelos

Volkswagen vende el ID. Buzz en los modelos Pro S, Pro S Plus y 1st Edition.

Tren motriz

El Pro S sólo se ofrece con un motor de tracción trasera y 282 caballos de fuerza. Esta es la oferta de serie de los modelos Pro S Plus y 1st Edition, pero puedes mejorar estas versiones con una configuración de doble motor de 335 caballos que también ofrece tracción a las cuatro ruedas (VW lo denomina 4Motion). Todos los ID. Buzz tiene una batería de 91 kWh.

Diseño de interiores

Espacioso ni siquiera empieza a describirlo; el ID. Buzz tiene espacio para la cabeza durante días. Las grandes ventanillas contribuyen a la sensación de amplitud, incluso sin techo solar panorámico.

Este vehículo es muy cómodo. Los asientos delanteros son mullidos y disponen de calefacción, refrigeración y masaje de serie. Incluso la tercera fila es bastante agradable en gran parte gracias al amplio espacio para la cabeza.

En la parte delantera, estás situado en una posición elevada con una vista imponente de lo que te espera. En la segunda fila, te dan la bienvenida puertas altas y anchas que hacen que sea muy fácil entrar y salir, así como acceder a la tercera fila.

Sin embargo, hay algunos problemas. Muchos de los controles del vehículo, que se encuentran en la pantalla táctil, distraen mientras se conduce. También es molesto que sólo hay dos interruptores de ventana para el conductor. Hay un botón separado para seleccionar el funcionamiento de las ventanas delanteras o traseras.

En Estados Unidos, con las tres filas de asientos plegadas, el ID. Buzz puede transportar 146 pies cúbicos de cosas, que es comparable a lo que se obtiene de los monovolúmenes tradicionales como el Chrysler Pacifica o Honda Odyssey.

Los anclajes de los asientos para niños en la segunda fila son muy fáciles de acceder gracias a esas altas y anchas aberturas de las puertas, y el techo alto significa que puedes estar mucho más erguido para maniobrar los asientos dentro y fuera que en la mayoría de otros vehículos.

Cargado de tecnología

La pantalla táctil de 12,9 pulgadas de Buzz utiliza iconos grandes, y los pellizcos y barridos se encuentran con respuestas rápidas. Apple CarPlay y Android Auto se conectan de forma inalámbrica, y puedes mantener tu teléfono cargado a través de una almohadilla de carga que está ventilada para evitar el sobrecalentamiento del dispositivo. Hay muchos otros puertos USB-C repartidos por la cabina. Incluso hay uno junto al espejo retrovisor.

El modelo Pro S Plus también añade: Parabrisas calefactado (sólo 4Motion), acceso manos libres a las puertas laterales correderas y al portón trasero, enganche de remolque retráctil, asientos tipo capitán en la segunda fila (sólo 4Motion), sistema de almacenamiento ajustable detrás del asiento de la tercera fila, sistema de sonido premium Harman Kardon de 13 altavoces, Head-up display (muestra información importante en la línea de visión del parabrisas) y sistema de cámara de visión envolvente.

Funciones de asistencia al conductor

Además, el ID. Buzz incluye una colección IQ.Drive de funciones de asistencia al conductor: Control de crucero adaptado, asistencia de mantenimiento de carril, sistema de centrado de carril, aviso de ángulo muerto con advertencia de tráfico cruzado trasero e intervención en el ángulo muerto.

Probandolo

Probé un ID. Buzz Pro S Plus con tracción a las cuatro ruedas. No es tan rápido como el Kia EV9, pero tiene suficiente empuje para arrancar desde parado. El frenado es suave y predecible, pero el frenado regenerativo no te detendrá por completo al levantar el pie del acelerador como ocurre en la mayoría de los vehículos eléctricos.

Con dos motores, el ID. Buzz pesa más de 2.000 kg, y ese peso se nota en las curvas. A velocidades de conducción diaria, sin embargo, el Buzz es fácil de maniobrar gracias a su dirección ligera, y las ventanas altas y expansivas son una gran ayuda para una fácil maniobrabilidad. El crucero adaptado puede ser algo brusco al acelerar y frenar, y VW no ofrece un asistente de conducción manos libres en carretera.

Menos atractiva es la forma en que el ID. Buzz se desplaza con rigidez sobre los baches. No es tan malo como para ir dando tumbos por las irregularidades del asfalto, pero otros SUV, especialmente otros monovolúmenes, ofrecen una conducción más suave en carretera. Otros vehículos también son más silenciosos; la cabina espaciosa del Buzz significa que el ruido puede reverberar fácilmente, y las conversaciones pueden tener un efecto de eco.

Para concluir

A primera vista, el Volkswagen ID. Buzz puede parecer una novedad, un retroceso cursi y colorido al antiguo VW Bus. Pero vive con esta furgoneta y descubrirás que es realmente útil para las familias.

Hay mucho espacio, mucha tecnología y algunos pequeños detalles inteligentes en el interior. Estaría bien más autonomía, pero el ID. Buzz es una alternativa convincente a otros vehículos eléctricos de tres filas de asientos.

The holidays can be beautiful… but for many grieving parents — especially special needs parents — this season hurts in ways most people never see.

Between disrupted routines, sensory overload, and the ache of missing someone you love, December can feel overwhelming. And here’s what most don’t realize:

Nearly HALF of Christians stop attending church after losing a loved one… not because they’ve lost their faith, but because they feel the church doesn’t know how to walk with them through grief.
These families aren’t leaving God —
they’re leaving because they feel unseen in their pain.

As someone who advocates for families of ALL abilities, I’m sharing a new blog post today on how we can support grieving loved ones — especially special needs parents — with compassion, faith, and presence this holiday season.

If someone in your life is grieving, please don’t stay silent.
Say their loved one’s name.
Offer specific help.
Create space for their emotions.
Pray with them.
Walk with them — gently, consistently, faithfully.

Because no parent should have to grieve alone during the holidays.

🏆 Earlier this week, I was once again filled with thankfulness, love, and faith. 
🏆 I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Home Health Care USA for naming me the “Latina American Caregiver of the Year!” 
🏆 Caregivers are among the unsung heroes in our society, and there are many different types of caregivers. For instance, the “Sandwich Generation” refers to individuals who are caring for both their aging parents and their children simultaneously. These caregivers often provide physical, emotional, and financial support. More than 50% of Americans in their 40s and 50s are currently caring for both their children and their senior parents—and usually without any help from extended family. 
🏆 Some caregivers dedicate their entire lives to caring for a child—or children—with disabilities into adulthood. Unfortunately, many caregiving parents or family members do not get a break or have quality time for themselves. About 50% of couples with special needs or neurodiverse children end up getting divorced. 
🏆 Having experienced both of these caregiving situations and still living within them, being named “Latina American Caregiver of the Year” means more to me than just an award. It symbolizes the millions of unpaid caretakers across the country who provide loving, effective care for family members or friends. 
🏆 I also want to extend my gratitude to all those who have followed my caregiving journey the past 17 years, including my care for my beloved late parents and my superhero, Joshua, on my social channels, Mami of Multiples, and Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell. The BEST is yet to come! 🙌
