It’s My Birthday and We’re Celebrating with a $100 Cash Giftfcard Giveaway #MOMBirthday

January 27 is fast approaching and that means….It’s my BIRTHDAY!

I have always been a BIG believer in birthdays and the right to celebrate your own life.  Its a time to reflect upon the joys, blessings, happiness, love, tragedies, disappointments, hurts and triumphs that one has endured over the last 12 months.  I am the youngest of my siblings – they were 16, 15, and 12 years old when I was born.  They were all excited when I finally arrived (as they had been continually asking our parents to have another child) but before I reached school age, they had left the nest and were off to college, military etc.

Fun Fact: My sister and I have the same birthday. I was born on her Sweet 16! My oldest brother was born January 15 and my other brother was born on February 15 but 3 years apart.

Being the youngest, I greatly enjoy reminding them of how ‘young’ I am and our age difference…it keeps me young to tell  them how I will always be their ‘little sister’.  I’m also very fond of wearing birthday crowns out in public on my birthday because in my heart I still feel like royalty (and I like to embarrass my family by wearing it). 🙂

  19. Happy #MOMBirthday, I agree all milestones should be celebrated. We often focus our energies on what we don’t have, instead of celebrating and being thankful for what we do have!

    For me, all monies are still going towards medical bills, so that’s what I would do with an extra $100.

  28. feliz cumpleanos! my birthday is in december, when I was young if I got $ for a gift I always used it towards buying christmas gifts for my family 🙂
    if I was the lucky winner I would use it to treat my sister and I to a pedicure!

  55. Happy Birthday, Joscelyn! So cool that you guys have the same birthday. I would spend the day by myself, siightseeing like a yourist, reading a book in a cafe, going for a run and then finish off with a nice long massage! I think $100 would definitely do it 🙂

  70. Happy Birthday to you. If I won I’d first get a pedicure or massage for myself, then I’d use the rest to go get something to eat with my family.
