Hi, I am Xochil, I am small town girl with a big heart. I have lived in the South Lake County area for almost 12 years, but was raised in Mt. Dora, Florida. I am wife to the most wonderful and handsome husband in the world. God has richly blessed me with 2 beautiful children, Jude(7) and Avalyn(2). I am really excited to be a contributor to Mami of Multiples!
A former youth minister and children’s librarian, I have done a lot of different things in my short life. God has been so good to me. I am a disciple of Jesus, I attend Hope International Church, and I am the Women’s Bible Study leader at my church. I love to spend time with family and friends, enjoy game nights and love reality shows. One of my favorite quotes is,”You win if you don’t quit.” There have been times in my life that I had to say this over and over. I know that God has a special plan for me, and I give Him glory for all that HE is to me.
Some things I LOVE!!!ย
I love to read Christian fiction and People magazine. I love being part of MOPS (moms of preschoolers) group. I love Reality Shows! I enjoy – notice I didnโt say love – going to the gym. ๐ I love roller skating. I love Bible studies, that is one of my most favorite things. I love Jesus with all my heart, soul and strength. There is nobody like Jesus. Last but not least, I love my family and friends, I am beyond blessed.
While I donโt have a perfect life, I do have the power of the Holy Spirit in me. I love sharing with other women the blessings of the Lord and how to get closer to Him on a daily basis. I love to encourage and uplift people, that is what the Lord has gifted me in. I love to share โnuggetsโ of wisdom that the Holy Spirit shares with me in my daily life as a woman, wife, mommy, daughter and friend. I continue to learn daily and would love to share with you through this column.

First, congratulations on the new column! Second, I love to see a woman who is unashamed to be a follower of Christ. Not many sites – especially parenting sites – allow their writers to express their Christian faith and I know M.O.M. always has so I greatly appreciate it. Blessings!
