If you have a child or if you are a fan of reality singing competitions, you probably heard of the name Adam Levine.  He is the front man for the widely popular musical group, Maroon 5, and is a current superstar judge on NBC’s The Voice.
Did You Know? Besides his musical talents, Adam Levine is a clothing designer with his line available at Kmart.
The Adam Levine Collection has just debuted its second season and is doing quite well. With a variety of items, great fabrics and designs, Adam and his partner, Project Runway designer alum Kevin Christiana, have put together a great line for today’s young man.  In particular, the Premium Denim Collection features authentic vintage denim in a wide range of colors and washes (including raw w/ selvage trim, dark indigo rinse, bleached indigo, and many more), but at an accessible price point under $40.
The Premium Denim line is a great line for a sophisticated yet simple, casual man with an edge and features a wide variety of items, all made with great fabrics and great designs. The Premium Denim line includes skinny, slim leg, straight leg and boot cut fits, which all give off a cool and classic vibe for everyday wear. The line also consists of amazing outerwear, wovens, knits, underwear and accessories including hats, scarves, socks, belts, sunglasses, shoes and bags.
With having a teen son, I was particularly interested in the Adam Levine Collection and Premium Denim line. For teens, brand names (and who or what they are wearing) is important.  Its part of the image and everyday look – teens want to look and be in the know.  As a Mom, I desire affordability without sacrificing quality and style.
The collection is exclusively in 500 select Kmart locations and on kmart.com, as well as Kmart’s shopping portal, ShopYourWay.com.  I purchased the following denim items for my teen on kmart.com:

I was impressed with the stitching and durable material of the jeans and shirt.  It did not look or feel poorly made. I was able to get the shirt and jeans for just under $30.00. The teen liked that he could wear it together as an outfit, the jeans and shirt are versatile items so he can pair it with other pieces of clothing and because it was a brand name.

 

The Premium Denim line also consists of amazing outerwear, wovens, knits, underwear and accessories including hats, scarves, socks, belts, sunglasses, shoes and bags. Prices are from $14.99-$69.99 for apparel and $9.99-$16.99 for accessories.
