New Year $100 Cash Gift Card Giveaway #MOM2015

in entertainment, faith, families, family outing, giveaways, health, holidays, parenting, savings on 01/16/15

January brings a commitment to accomplish resolutions for the new year ahead. One of my personal goals is to spend more quality time with my growing family.  Many resolutions include the desire to get healthier, exercise more, start a new career, continue education, start a family or spend more time with your family etc.

Why are New Year’s resolutions so hard to keep sometimes? One of the biggest culprits of failure is that people set their resolutions up as long-term goals, but fail to set short-term goals directing them to the end result. Long term goals (lose weight, get promoted, earn a certain amount of income, be home more for the kids, date more…by the end of the next year) are directionless without short-term goals.

For your New Year’s resolution to succeed its helpful to keep your 12 month goal, but break it up into monthly goals. Go a step further and break it up into weekly and even daily goals. The two most important pieces of the puzzle are (1) having challenging yet attainable short-term goals that are clearly defined, and (2) that you consistently re-evaluate your short terms goals and modify as needed.
To help jumpstart your new year, Mami of Multiples is offering a $100 Cash Gift Card!

🕊️ After Mommy, you were the first person to hold me when I took my first breath in this world.
🕊️ After Mommy passed on to the heavenly realms, I was the last person to embrace you when you took your final breath on this earth.
🕊️ Happy Heavenly Father’s Day, Daddy! Your legacy is vast and tremendous, filling us with pride and happiness everytime we hear another testimony about the impact your life had on others. There will never be another person like you. What a blessing you were and still are. You are so loved and missed every day. ♥️ #HappyFathersDay #HappyHeavenlyFathersDay #FelizDiaDelPadre

Oh, sweet boy. To know you is to love you. While you may not talk much yet, your understanding and receptive language skills has grown tremendously. Even as a very smiley infant (pre-Autism), you would look at people intently and stop smiling or even cry if you didn’t like something about them. Today, this has deepened. When you’re uncomfortable with someone, you back away, narrow your eyes at their gaze, and refrain from smiling or laughing towards them. You won’t hug them or verbally say Hi or Goodbye to them. You express your feelings clearly—it’s a God-given discernment.

Your birth and life has been and continues to be a call to action. We have launched, expanded, and are continuously developing programs that are providing aid, counseling, empowerment, job training, support, resources, and so much more to families with special needs and those who are neurodiverse. As we advocate for others, we will always prioritize you and your needs. If there’s someone you don’t like, then we don’t like them either! 💪👊

🏅 Last month our dynamic duo, Jonathan & Jeremy, who are dual enrolled at @hopepreparatoryacademy and at @lakesumterstatecollege were selected to join The National Society of Leadership and Success.
🏅Today, Jonathan & Jeremy were inducted into the @nationalhonorsociety!
🏅 Their remarkable intelligence fills us with joy, but it is the depth of their character and their unwavering commitment to serving others that truly inspires us, filling our hearts with profound love and admiration for who they are.
🏅 We miss Mom and Dad every day, especially on days like today. The beauty of their legacy is that as my parents served and advocated for others, they instilled the same biblical principles in me and helped to pass on to their twin grandsons.
🏅God has been faithful to surround us with very special people who have loved us, the twins, and have shown up in their lives beyond just the labels of being related or church family or friends—its simply FAMILY.
🏅THANK YOU for making the National Honor Society induction such a special occasion for them this week Tio Joaquin, Titi Alexandra, & Uncle Mikey, Titi Penny & Luis, Uncle Tj & Aunt Meraiah, Grandmom “Gigi” Jodie, Grandpa “Papa T” Tony, Aunt Khrystyna, Mother Mary, HPA Principal Tawanda Odom, HPA Head of Schools Michael Randolph, HPA Assistant Principal Sharnae Daniels, and our Hope Family.
🏅 🚔 Special THANK YOU to the wonderful Chief Shawn Ramsey of the Groveland Police Department for taking time out of his busy schedule to continually demonstrate his genuine care and commitment to community outreach.
