Many parents are rejoicing after a long summer (while some kids might not exactly feel the same way) because it’s that time of year again – back to school season! Various schools across the country commence in mid August or after Labor Day in September.  (Our oldest and high schooler, returned to school today while the identical twins are going into kindergarten next week.)  With the expense of having to purchase new school supplies, lunch, materials, school fees and tuition etc., this can truly not only be an exciting time in anticipation for the new school year but an expensive period for parents getting students ready for another school year.

We understand first-hand the costs associated with back to school preparations, especially with having various school aged children.  To help with the back to school expenses, we are pleased to be hosting a $100 cash giftcard giveaway.   We are parents too so our desire is to assist another family this back to school season so they can have the opportunity to help give their children what they need and start off the new school year in a positive direction.

  112. I need the $100 for bts because I have one in college, a grandson in 1st grade whom I help out with and one getting ready to serve as a volunteer for Americorps. Believe it or not, it costs quite a bit in supplies for Americorps because we’re in the south and my daughter will be stationed in Denver and moving wherever help is needed so she has to fill in her wardrobe for when she won’t be wearing a uniform. (I know, that’s not exactly school stuff, but it’s a new beginning so I added it.)
