The name “George Foreman” has been synonymous with boxing and cooking within my family.  Growing up with my parents in New York, I knew of George Foreman from his illustrious boxing career and my father meeting him at a boxing match.  My parents introduced to me “El Foreman” (as they called it) when they purchased one of the first George Foreman’s grills, “The Lean, Mean, Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine” in the 1990s.  The concept that the grill could be used indoors and make the same great tasting grill flavored meats, hamburgers, vegetables that is created by an outdoor BBQ Grill was really revolutionary for cooking. The grilling machine did remove the excess fat and grease from various meats so “El Foreman” could be found on our kitchen counter tops throughout the year.

Ever since then I have always had a Foreman grill in my household and I was happy to see the brand concept of George Foreman Healthy Cooking.  George Foreman Healthy Cooking mission is to “help today’s families meet their goals of healthy eating and healthy lifestyles overall.”  Healthy cooking and living information can be found on the George Foreman Healthy Cooking website, including Being Heart Smart, Healthy Cooking Blog, and Healthy Cooking Recipes.

  21. I have the old original George Foreman Grill and it works fine. The Evolve looks even better thanks to its’ versatility.
    I like the temperature control and the ability to change the grill plates and put them in the dishwasher.
