MamiofMultiples.com is pleased to have been selected to be an official member of the What’s in the Bible? Street Team. What’s in the Bible? is a DVD series from VeggieTales creator, Phil Vischer, designed to walk kids and families through the entire Bible.  Last year, MamiofMultiples.com was a official stop on the What’s in the Bible? blog tour launch. 

VeggieTales, the groundbreaking Christian cartoon showcased the breakout stars of Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato. One of the reasons Phil has created What’s in the Bible? is to answer the call placed in his heart to help today’s youth and keep them engaged.

The series captures the attention and explains the main themes of each book of the Bible in a concise and kid-friendly manner.  Already a fast hit among parents, children, teachers, churches, What’s in the Bible? DVDs 1-4 are available for purchase and/or download.
The current What’s in the Bible? DVDs are the following:
In the Beginning (DVD 1)
Let My People Go (DVD 2)
Wanderin’ in the Desert  (DVD 3)
Battle for the Promised Land! (DVD 4)
Coming on May 1 2011, DVD# 5, Israel Gets a King!, will be released.
In What’s in the Bible? volume 5, Buck Denver and cast take us through 1 and 2 Samuel. The two episodes focus on three of the most influential kings of Israel (Saul, David, and Solomon). And the Tricky Bits section explains the Trinity (after we learn that the Spirit of the Lord fell upon David). The DVD highlights God’s promise to David and how the promise impacts the salvation story. We also see what happens when David (and the other kings) sin against God. Kids learn that there are consequences for sin!

In cooperation with Tyndale House Publishers, the What’s in the Bible? Street Team will be helping to promote What’s in the Bible? and offer fun activities, including DVD giveaways.

  3. My kids adore What’s in the Bible? We are fans of VeggieTales too but What’s in the Bible? really does explain a lot about the Bible for kids and parents. Will be checking back. 🙂

    I’m going to show the videos to my daughters and see how they like it. We have VeggieTales movies here at home, which they already adore. 🙂
