Easy Recipe: Ranch Pork Chops

When I saw the T-shirt (shown above) online, I laughed aloud and immediately thought of my husband. No, my husband, is not a 'porker', but it just seemed like such a man shirt. With 4 men in my house, pork chops have always seemed to be a hearty "manly" dish that is welcomed any weekday.

The following pork chop recipe comes from Hidden Valley, the Original Ranch Dressing.  Their website contains many easy-to-make recipes (which is ideal for busy families), healthy eating tips, and family friendly activities to enjoy together.  When I made the recipe this week, I found it was simple to prepare and the pork chops turned out moist (not dry or hardened) with a great tasting tangy seasoned flavor.

Original Ranch Pork Chops
Servings: 5 - 6

Ingredients

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450ºF.
  2. In a small bowl, add the Seasoning mix, together with the salt, pepper, and paprika and mix well. Liberally sprinkle the pork chops on both sides with the seasoning mixture.
  3. Arrange the chops on a baking sheet or try with a rack. Bake the pork chops for 20 minutes, turning once until browned or an internal temperature of 160ºF is reached. Serve immediately.

*NOTE: I used pork chop tenderloins (with no bones) and added Goya Adobo (all purpose seasoning) in substitute of the salt & pepper.*

This recipe is included in a weekly virtual recipe exchange called #SabrosoSaturday hosted by Latina On a Mission so be sure to check out the other "Yummy" featured recipes.

Happy Cooking!

  2. My teen firmly believes all the food groups start with CH - chicken, chocolate, cheese. I like how you used boneless pork tenderloins and eliminate that potential issue (some pork chops have very sharp bones). Making notes so I can sneak in some chuletas.

  3. I just love pork but never had much success except for the super fried version. This looks good and better for you! I am putting this on the menu this week!
